The 2018 Henrico Christmas Mother, Angela Harper, will be the speaker at our quarterly meeting on December 2nd.
Angela Harper will speak at 2:30 followed by a brief business meeting, after which a tour will be given of the Henrico Division of Recreation and Parks headquarters. The newly renovated building was the former location of the Dumbarton Library.
Location for the meeting is at the Henrico Recreation and Parks office located at 6800 Staples Mill Road, Henrico 23228.
Prior to retiring from Henrico County, Ms. Harper worked for 41 years beginning as a County Planner 2. She was Director of Planning and then Deputy County Manager for Special Services. As the lead staff member for the 400th anniversary, Ms. Harper enjoyed working with Sarah Pace, HPAC and the Henrico County Historical Society (HCHS). She has been on the Henrico Christmas Mother Council since 2013 as an Annual Member for the Fairfield District.
Those attending may make optional donations to the Henrico Christmas Mother at the meeting by cash or check, which will be used for the purchase of items for the Henrico Christmas Mother Fund.
